There is 3 Days 2 Nights Jungle & Lake Explorer (Overnight at Khaosok Boutique Hideaway & The Floating Raft) by Khaosok Discovery.
Day 1:
We pick you up at the hotel in the morning to leave Phuket with our guide who will take care of and provide you information. When the van crosses Sarasin Bridge to Phang Nga Province, you can feel the lifestyle of the local communities and their livings as well as the scenery of mountains, rubber and palm which are economic plants around the area.
Visited Tsunami Memorial Site. Khao Lak has been hit by Tsunami. Now, there is no mark of damage but only the painful memory of the tragedy. As well as good memory of people who give help to others without discrimination to class, color, nation and religious such like “one world together”.
We then take you to Suratthani where the evergreen forest of Khao Sok National Park is located. While we are on the mountainous and wonderful route, you will see the self-sufficiency lifestyle of the local people which makes us feel envy.
Upon arriving Khao Sok you will enjoy to spending time to Elephant Bathing that will lead you to the miraculous rain forest to see amazing nature of non-decorated biodiversity. After being excited with nature on elephant’s back for 0.45-1.0 Hr., we lead you to Khaosok Discovery Restaurant with easy and natural atmosphere with home grown plants like chilly, corn, etc. You will be enjoying Thai and non-spicy lunch We hope that you enjoyed the delicious lunch in the real nature and the sincerity of the local people.
After lunch we will start our enjoyable program with canoeing. We provide paddlers, the offspring of the local people, to accompany you through Khao Sok River to take photographs of our valuable times. In addition to the pleasant atmosphere of Khao Sok river that are full of live animals like snakes, gibbons and others, you will deeply touch the sincere heart and willful services of the paddlers as they treat you as the guests of their homes.
After canoeing, we will bring you to your accommodation. Khaosok discovery, we provide comfortable tents at Khaosok Boutique Hideaway. You can spend time and find a new experience with a nature. Wonderful mountain location. Enjoy a fresh and relaxing atmosphere every morning. you will like your dinner in a natural environment and feel the scent of the timbers and intonation of the forest.
After enjoying the tasty dinner, it’s time to take a rest in the Bungalow. Khao Sok at night is cool and will give you a pleasant sleeping time with no need of air conditioner as the forest will give you the best and fresh air ever.
Day 2:
Welcome new morning with varieties of bird that sing along within the fresh surroundings and you’ll see the fogs that extensively cover the area of Khao Sok National Park.
After breakfast, we will take you to a trekking in tropical forest which both sides contain large and small plants with water current that flows down from the mountain as well as the singing birds. The trekking routes are high and steep which is a good work out. If you come as a couple, you will get a romantic time that each of you helps each other which will make your relationship stronger.
During the trek you will be watching the insects and animals. You will be walking through the water currents that flow down from the mountain and listening to the water when impacting the rocks which will get rid of your exhaustion. When you come near to the waterfalls, you will see spectacular things that are hard to describe. Rain season is the most beautiful time to trek, and it takes about 4-5 hours. If you wish to take meal during adventure, you can advise our guide so they will provide for you and you will have another memorable experience.
After collecting the luggage and checked out, we lead you to discover another attraction called “Guilin of Thailand” or Ratchaprapa Dam. The way from Khao Sok Discovery Camp to Ratchaprapa Dam is a route passing through small villages and you can feel the peaceful lifestyle.
In addition to discovering the living of the local people, you will be enjoyed with the nature, plants and mountain views on both sides until arriving Ratchaprapa Dam. 10 minutes from the entrance you will be excited with the miraculous scenery of spacious ground of emerald water decorated with blue sky like you are in the ocean. Upon reaching the pier you can store some snacks during the boat trip. Then we move on by long-tailed boat to the raft or floating house.
During the boat trip you will be wondered with the very wide water ground of emerald and blue colors. It is very beautiful like you are in the ocean until you forget that you are really in the dam. The nature surrounding you will be very beautiful while the trees on the mountains and islands are waving along the wind like they are welcoming their visitors.
After you store your luggage, you can enjoy swimming and canoeing. Dinner and overnight, at night you will be enjoying your night under the light of stars, while watching and imaging the shadow of the trees and listening to the singing of insects, breathing in the scent of forest and embraced by the forest.
Day 3:
Fresh morning wakes up and experience the spectacular Cheow Lan Lake by local long-tail boat to cruise the turquoise water of Cheow Lan Lake. Then change the atmosphere to jungle walk. You can meet enchanting plants, flower, butterfly, birds, squirrels, reptiles, etc. waited for your discovery, then a short walk to 500 Rai Lake.
After a short walk, getting on the canoeing to cross the 500 rai lake to an amazing cave. The stalagmites have a similar shape (Easy access for children but be careful for the slippery wet floor). Spend 30 minutes cave exploring (a small cave but great formations). Lunch at the float house.

ITINERARY
Day 1:
07.00-08.30 – Pick up from your hotel by air-conditioned vehicle. (Departure time varies by hotel location.)
– Dropped by Sarasin Bridge to take a little relax or toilet. You can enjoy the scenery of how Phuket Island is part of The Andaman Ocean.
– Visited Monkey Cave temple
– Excited Elephant Bathing Program. You can scrub, play or get on their back without the saddle. They are gentle, loving and friendly.
– Stopped at Khaosok a scenic viewpoint. (Great panoramic view of Khaosok)
– Lunch at Khaosok Discovery Restaurant.
– Started Canoeing down the river of Khaosok (chance to spot a flora & fauna, limestone cliff mountains along the way) (approximate 0.45-1 hrs.)
16.00 – Check in at Khaosok Boutique Hideaway (Air-con room)
19.00 – Dinner then pleasuring with the sounds of the jungle cicada.
Day 2:
07.30 – Breakfast
08.30 – Jungle Hiking on foot in Khaosok National Park, an inland haven tucked away from the thronging beach crowds, Khaosok is Thailand’s secret jewel. This ancient rainforest dates back 160 million years and it wears its age well. Enchanting Plants, Flowers, Butterfly, Birds, Squirrels, Reptiles, etc. awaits your discovery. (Approximate 3 hrs.)
12.00 – Lunch at Khaosok mountain view restaurant. Check out from the camps.
14.30 – Depart for Cheow Lan Lake. Arrive at pier then board on Long Tail boat to cruise the turquoise water of Cheow Lan Lake.
15.30 – Leisure. Self-paddle canoe adventure around the floating hut, nature watching relax, swimming in the fresh water lake.
19.00 – Dinner and Overnight at the floating Raft.
Day 3:
06.30 – Morning Safari, observing the varied life of animals in Khaosok jungle by the long tail boat in the mist of glory morning (this activity will not be operated on the rainy day.)
07.30 – Breakfast
08.30 – Hopped on Longtail Boat for a short trip (1.5 km.) to cross the 500 Rai Lake juggle for bamboo rafting. You can meet enchanting plants, flower, butterfly, birds, squirrels, reptiles, etc. waited for your discovery, then getting on the bamboo raft to cross the 500 rai lake to Pakarang Cave (Coral Cave). The stalagmites have a similar shape to coral which is how the cave came to be named (Easy access for children but be careful for the slippery wet floor). Spend 30 minutes cave exploring (a small cave but great formations).
13.00 – Return to floating hut for lunch
14.00 – Start journey back by long tail boat, spotted Cheow Lan Lake Scenic View.
– Arrive at mainland.
18.00-19.00 – Arrive back at your hotel.
